The Hon. Sonny Saul is a judge for the Jones County Justice Court in Mississippi. He was elected to the bench in 2020, filling a vacancy created by the elevation of the Hon. Billie Graham to the 19th Chancery Court District.
Prior to his election, Saul spent thirty years in law enforcement, twenty-five of which were with the Enforcement Division of the Mississippi Highway Patrol. During his tenure there, he reached the rank of master sergeant, holding assignments as an accident reconstruction specialist.
Saul was born and raised in Mississippi. He and his wife, Gail, have two sons. The family attends Highland Baptist Church, where he serves as a deacon. When not presiding over legal proceedings, he works with Mission at The Cross and serves as a Gideon International.
