The Hon. Randi P. Mueller is a judge for the 2nd Circuit Court District of Mississippi. She was appointed to the bench by Governor Tate Reeves on March 11, 2021, filling a vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Roger Clark.
The 2nd Circuit District encompasses Hancock County, Harrison County, and Stone County.
Mueller earned a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Mississippi in 1997. She then completed a J.D. at the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2000. She is licensed to practice in Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, and Tennessee.
After graduating from law school, Mueller entered into private practice at Brunini, Grantham, Grower & Hewes. She remained with the firm until 2004, at which time she joined her father and her brother at Page, Mannino, Peresich & McDermott. Then, in 2020, she returned to Brunini, Grantham, Grower & Hewes, where she worked as a partner until her appointment to the bench. Mueller represented businesses in civil litigation matters, handling commercial, construction, gaming, personal injury, mass torts, product liability, and premises liability cases.
Her memberships have included the American Bar Association’s Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section, where she has chaired the Toxic Tort & Environmental Law Committee. She has also been involved with United Way of South Mississippi as well as the Board of Directors of the Knight Nonprofit Center, Goodwill Industries of South Mississippi, the Gulf Coast Business Council, and the Gulf Coast Carnival Association.
She was a resident of Biloxi, Mississippi, at the time of her appointment. She and her husband, Tom, have one son.
