The Hon. John L. Marshall, Jr., is a judge for the 14th Judicial Circuit Court of Virginia. He was elected to the bench by the Virginia General Assembly on February 25, 2015.
The 14th Judicial Circuit encompasses Henrico County.
Prior to his election, Marshall presided as a judge for the 14th Judicial District Court.
Marshall earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia in 1991. He then completed a J.D. at the University of Virginia School of Law in 1995. He is licensed to practice in Virginia (1995), the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia (1996), and the United States Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit (1995).
