The Hon. Celeste Wilson is a judge for the 23rd Circuit Court District of Mississippi in DeSoto County.
She was originally appointed to the 17th Circuit Court District by former Governor Phil Bryant in 2017, which included DeSoto, Tate, Panola, Tallahatchie, and Yalobusha Counties at the time. DeSoto County split from the 17th District in January 2023 to form the 23rd Circuit Court District.
Prior to her appointment, Wilson served as a judge for the DeSoto County Court since 2009. Before joining the bench, she worked as an assistant district attorney for the 17th Judicial District (2002 to 2008).
Wilson received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Delta State University. She then served as director for the Southaven Chamber of Commerce (1999 to 2001) before completing a J.D. at the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in 2001.
