The Hon. Bradley B. Cavedo is a judge for the 13th Judicial Circuit Court of Virginia. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor Mark Warner in 2002.
The 13th Judicial Circuit encompasses the City of Richmond.
Cavedo earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Richmond in 1977. He then completed a J.D. at the University of Richmond School of Law in 1983.
He is licensed to practice in Virginia (1983), the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia (1983), the United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia, the United States Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
After graduating from law school, Cavedo entered into private practice. He specialized in civil litigation for several high-profile firms, eventually leaving to become a deputy attorney general for the Virginia Attorney General’s Office.
