KNOW ALL PERSONS BY THESE PRESENTS
That we, Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles ,
Complainant
as Principal, and Philadelphia Indemnity Insurance Company a corporation authorized to do surety business in the
State of Florida, as Surety, are held and firmly bound unto:
Eduardo Hernandez and United Auto Credit Corporation the Claimant, as Obligee,
in the penal sum of ONE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($1,500.00), for the payment of
which well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves and our legal representatives, firmly by these presents.
WHEREAS, the Principal has proceeded against a Contraband Article, as defined in Florida Statutes§ 932.701(a) of
the Florida Contraband Forfeiture Act, by filing a Complaint in the Circuit Court within the jurisdiction where the
seizure of said Contraband Article or the criminal offense occurred.
WHEREAS, the Principalis required pursuant to the terms of Florida Statutes§ 932.704(4) to post a
Bond for Forfeiture of Contraband with the Clerk of Court.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CONDITION OF THIS OBLIGATION IS SUCH THAT if the Principal prevails in either the
forfeiture proceeding or any appeal, then this obligation shall be void; othenlvise to remain if full force and effect. The
Principal shall be responsible to pay the penal sum of this bond to the Claimant, only if the Claimant prevails in the
forfeiture proceeding and in any and all appeals. Thereafter, in the event the Principal fails to pay the Claimant the
penal sum within thirty (30) days after the final order ofthe court in the forfeiture proceedings, the Surety shall pay
the penal sum of this bond.
PROVIDED, that regardless of the number of years this bond shall continue in force, the number of claims made
against this bond, and the number of premiums which shall be payable or paid, the Surety‘s total limit of liability shall
not be cumulative from year to year or period to period, and in no event shall the Surety‘s total liability for all claims
exceed the amount set forth above. Any revision of the bond amount shall not be cumulative.
