COME NOW the Plaintiffs, DEBORAH COOPER BURG, by and through her Court-
appointed Guardian, RICKY BURG; NICOLE BURG, her daughter; and RICKY BURG, her
spouse, by and through their undersigned attorneys, and move for a protective order as to
records from Dr. Manuel Gallego concerning Plaintiffs, and as grounds state:
1. Dr. Manuel Gallego is a psychiatrist who, by information and belief, examined or
treated DEBORAH COOPER BURG in the past.

2. Despite multiple attempts, Plaintiffs’ counsel has never been able to obtain any
records from Dr. Manuel Gallego nor speak with him.
Prior to the dissemination of Dr. Manuel Gallego’s records to any party in this case,
Plaintiffs’ counsel seeks to examine these records and if there is any irrelevant or
scurrilous or otherwise immaterial portion of the records to have the Court examine
them in-camera.
It is respectfully requested that the Court order that prior to any party obtaining Dr.
Manuel Gallego’s records, that counsel for Plaintiffs first have an opportunity to see
the records and if necessary, seek an in-camera inspection of them by the Court as to
any potentially non-discoverable portion of Dr. Manuel Gallego’s records.
